Darshan means to come before the Lord, bow down to Him and pray, chant Hare Krishna, or offer fruits and flowers, and see His magnificent form. The Lord manifests His beautiful Deity form in this world so that we can see Him with our material eyes, although He is not material. Because we have material eyes, we cannot yet see His original spiritual form. By appearing as the Deity He allows us to see Him, and become purified so that we can see His personal form everywhere at all times, and in our heart.
